JJ specializes in state and federal regulatory compliance for health plans. She provides clients with strategic and operational guidance in their relationships with the Washington Office of the Insurance Commissioner, the Washington Health Benefit Exchange, and CMS. She comes to us with years of policy analysis experience in both the domestic and international markets.
As the Managing Editor of State of Reform, she also directs the firm’s open source intelligence activities for the health care marketplace in a 5-state area. She helps to provide a unique level of reporting and research not found by other agencies.
JJ has worked for the Los Angeles Times, Entrepreneur, and Sound Publishing Group. She has also spent seven years overseas as a Communications and Public Policy professor for Korea Development Institute.
