Karianna Wilson joined Wilson Strategic in the summer of 2012 after spending much of her 20 year career as COO/CFO of Washington State’s largest independent physician association, Northwest Physicians Network (NPN). While there, she managed $45m in risk-bearing contracts and led an organization of 75 employees working with over 500 physicians. In 2014, Karianna worked with Columbia United Providers to develop their first full commercial health plan in the company’s 20 year history. She led a team of consultants from Wilson Strategic and an internal client team to develop insurance products, organize provider networks, and submit complicated regulatory filings.

“Karianna knows Washington State health care as well as anyone, but most importantly she knows the culture and the language of health care. She knows how to talk ‘doctor,’ which is really invaluable to creating system change.”
